Cols reserved for cyclists only !

Each Tuesday morning during the summer season !

The idea is simple; roads such as the iconic climb up to Alpe d’Huez or access to certain mountain passes (cols) are for cyclists only (closed to motor vehicles) on the dates and times specified for each route. This is a free, non-timed get-together for cyclists, with no registration required and no set departure time. Refreshments will be provided on the summit – a great opportunity to discover the products of the Oisans route “des savoir-faire”.

The exact dates for the summer of 2019 are not known yet. We will publish them on our website as soon as the local Tourist Office has communicated them to us.

Also this year ChaletyCarpe Diem and Restaurant La Romanche was again sponsor of Alpe d’HuZes.

On June 7, we unveiled a great interim amount of 11.2 million euros. The final proceeds of Alpe d’HuZes 2018 will be announced on Sunday 30 September. This amount is officially handed over to the director of the KWF.

Background information
Alpe d’HuZes is a great event with a fantastic goal, organized by passionate people! Again this year we want to raise as much money as possible for the good cause. We do this together, volunteers, participants and sponsors.
